Ghaddar Machinery Co. subsidiary in UAE; Rich Motor Co. is catering to Oil & Gas sector by providing them with power solutions that perfectly fit their technical requirements.
For that, 3 generators of 1000 KVA prime power each powered by Cummins KTA 38 engines coupled with Leroy Somer TAL049E with Camo like paint have been provided to power an off-grid oil field site in IRAQ.
The project responds to customers’ requirement for machines that can spare them the hassles and failures they had with their existing sets for which they were looking for replacement.
Customers main concern was the poor load acceptance issues and the down time for maintenance which was costing them too much. This in addition to the need of frequent valve calibration which puts the entire site to a halt.
RMC carried out the FAT test with the presence of the customers and their consultant. Applying various loads while stressing on the overload level, the units demonstrated the response of the KTA’s as expected.
